During most of 2010 I've been part of the Durian Open Movie Project, at the Blender Institute, Amsterdam. The short movie "Sintel" is the result from this project, in which I've been involved in many areas.

My first time in Europe got me working on the Apricot Open Game Project,
at the Blender Institute, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The game prototype "Yo Frankie!" came out from this, since it was a 3 people team (1 dev, 2 artists),
I got to work on many areas, including shading, textures, lighting, character design + modeling, some animation, Start menus, and even the logo!
Few things I really love, one of them is creating characters!, give them a name of their own, trying to make them tell a story, is what I love the most. This is how I started in art, they're far from perfect, since they are old and were only an exercise back then, but each one of this characters have its own place in my heart ♥
All my characters are as free as they can be!

My first training DVD Venom's Lab! took place
at the Blender Institute, Amsterdam.
Worked on it during May-June 2009, from chapters design to execution, printed and worldwide (!) delivery on July that year. Great learning experience I must say!
Definitely something I'm going to do again! (perhaps another DVD, book?).

Personal and Open Projects are always great fun, but they don't fill a fulltime job for me yet,
so inbetween open projects and training, I go to studios around to work as freelancer on small projects of them, could be ads or own stuff.
Since these are usually small projects, the teams are also small (sometimes only 2 people or even just me), so I get to play and learn
a lot in very diverse areas, that brings all the fun back! :D
